(I don't know why I want to use English for blogging today but I just want to...)

    Long time ago I came across a statement in a magazine, saying that "不会谈恋爱的人也不会做生意". I felt it interesting and making some sense, but just couldn't elaborate why it is. Time passed by and I've gained some experience in both field. Though I'm still not good at either, I do understand more about the common wisdom between the two, and the experience in either field can be borrowed by the other. Actually when we go through the following knowledge we'll found them all valid with "the client" replaced by "your girl":

- It's stupid to make contact only for "something";

- Or waiting for the client to contat you first;

- And you can always make up something to talk about, while the client will normally not get bored;

- Pay attention to how the client's business is going - if something good happens congratulate and praise them, while if something wrong then ask about it and ask whether we can help;

- Try to imagine how you feel and how you're going to react if you were the client;

- When you screwed up something, it's not that terrible - it's terrible not trying to fix it; show that you really care about the relationship and prove that the same thing will not happen again;

- When the client is upset always say "I'm sorry" first regardless the cause; (But... should be very cautious about saying "apologize", which is totally different from dealing with your girl)

    Acutally some skills to deal with a client and deal with your girl are similar becuase they're all about dealing with human-beings. Your girl is who you 100% dedicate to so if you don't even know how to delight and get along with your girl you'll never know how to handle a client. Love is emotional but boys need to be very rational about the ways of being together. I hope I will, and I am going to, master both.
